1. No advertisement and no solicitation
The Bar Council of India Rules restrict advocates from soliciting work or advertising, directly or indirectly. In line with that position, by reading this website you acknowledge that:
- there has been no advertisement, personal communication, solicitation, invitation or inducement of any kind from us or any of our members to solicit work;
- you are accessing this website of your own accord and for your own information;
- the information here is provided only on your specific request, for your own use, and is not intended to create an advocate-client relationship;
- we accept no liability for any consequence of any action taken by you relying on material published on this website.
Where this website describes services, prices or processes, it does so to inform a person who has already chosen to look for that information, not to induce anyone to engage anyone.
2. This is information, not legal advice
The guides on this website explain how marriage solemnisation and registration generally work under the Hindu Marriage Act 1955, the Special Marriage Act 1954, the Arya Marriage Validation Act 1937 and related law. They are written for a general reader.
Your case has facts. A general explanation cannot account for them. Nothing on this website should be treated as advice for your situation, and you should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of it without taking advice appropriate to your own facts.
3. No advocate-client relationship
Reading this website, downloading a checklist, sending an enquiry or receiving a fee quotation does not create an advocate-client relationship, and does not put anyone under a professional duty to you. Any such relationship arises only under a separate, express engagement.
4. Accuracy, currency and figures
We take care to cite statutes and official sources, and we date every guide. Even so:
- Statutes are amended, rules are notified and procedures change without notice.
- Government fees differ between States and are revised. Published sources sometimes disagree with each other; where they do, we say so on the page rather than pick one and present it as settled.
- Court decisions are summarised for a general reader and are not a substitute for the judgment itself.
- Timelines are what offices have typically been taking, not a promise.
5. No guarantee of outcome
No service can guarantee that a government authority will accept a file, issue a certificate on a particular date, or decide any matter in your favour. Any claim of a guaranteed same-day result, a guaranteed approval, or a waiver of a statutory notice period should be treated as a warning sign, wherever you read it.
6. Affiliation
We are an independent documentation and registration support service. We are not a government department, a court, an SDM office or the Registrar of Marriages, and we do not represent ourselves as any of them. Arya Samaj is a socio-religious movement with many independent mandirs and institutions; unless a page says otherwise, references to Arya Samaj on this website describe the ceremony and the applicable law, not an endorsement by, or agency of, any particular Arya Samaj body.
Before any ceremony you are entitled to verify the credentials of the mandir concerned. We publish a page on how to verify an Arya Samaj mandir precisely so that you can.
7. External links and third-party content
Links to government portals, judgments and news reports are provided for convenience. We do not control those resources and are not responsible for their content or availability. A link is not an endorsement.
8. Reviews and results
We do not publish invented testimonials, star ratings or success statistics, and we do not mark up our pages with review schema that is not backed by genuine, verifiable reviews. Where we describe what typically happens, we say that it is typical. Past outcomes in other files are not a prediction for yours.
9. Contact
If anything on this website is inaccurate, out of date, or reads as a claim we cannot support, write to info@aryasamajmandirsdelhi.in or call +91 7011476967 and we will review it.
